When I Feel and Where I Feel It - Worksheet for Young People
This product is a worksheet that supports young people to gain an awareness of how trauma and emotions feel in their body. Young people can select an emotion and use the additional sheet of feeling prompts to describe what feeling corresponds with what emotion. This can process can be an activity where the feelings are cut out and stuck on the body part in which it is felt. There are additional blank feeling circles where young people can describe and/or draw other feelings that may not be represented.
Knowing where young people feel in their body and what it is they feel is the first stage of recognising when an emotion is present, in order to then respond positively. This is a very important process for young people who have experienced trauma or are displaying behaviours of concern - these young people tend to go from 0-100 quickly as they have not yet learnt how to recognise what or where they feel.
My products are helpful for anyone supporting young people, including teachers, social workers, therapists, counsellors and parents! Items must be downloaded within 24 hours from purchase in order to download, save and use over and over again.
