NDIS Behaviour Support

Therapeutic Resources for Children & Young People

Who am I?

Hi! My name is Rosie. I have over 15 years of experience supporting young people and caregivers in various settings. I am passionate about helping young people live their best lives and ensuring that the professionals who support them and those who care for them have the tools to help them succeed and overcome challenges in their world.

On a personal level, travel is my greatest joy in life. I love to learn about the world and other cultures and experience all the universe has to offer. My self-care involves moving my body daily and maintaining a healthy lifestyle; my fiancé, home, and friends are my haven. I have overcome many significant challenges in life, and I believe that my lived experience is just as important, if not more valuable, than my education and professional experience in my work.

NDIS Behaviour Support

I am an Advanced Practitioner in the field of Behaviour Support. I specialise in working with children and young people, particularly adolescents under the guardianship of child protection who may reside in a range of care environments, including residential care, foster care, and kinship care. I specialise in working with children and young people who have a range of support needs, including but not limited to:

  • Complex trauma

  • Alternative and complex care arrangements

  • Culturally diverse backgrounds

  • History of criminal offending or those who are at risk of offending

  • History of substance misuse

  • Complex behaviours of concern including physical aggression, verbal aggression, assault, property damage and self-harm

My Experience

These settings include out-of-home care, disability education in London, play therapy in a children’s hospital, homelessness, and early intervention family counselling.
